P.F. Chang’s

After serious debating, we all finally decided on Chinese and then eventually agreed on P.F. Chang’s.  Now I haven’t been here before but heard this was a big franchise here.  The ambience is nice and family friendly, we came in a group – 4 adults and 1 child.  We had called ahead and made a reservation for 8pm and it was quite busy for a Sunday.  We were seated promptly and ordered Salt & Pepper Calamari, Shrimp Dumplings and Chang’s Chicken noodle soup for starters.  The Salt & Pepper Calamari was great, nice sauce and just the right amount of crispiness, it was good.  The Dumplings were nice too and the soup was really great, quality ingredients and the broth was tasty.  We also got some vegetable spring rolls for the kid, but these were not great.  We were quite full after this but had already placed an order for our mains – 4 of these – total overkill.  We ordered the Vegetable Fried Rice, Mongolian Beef, Korean BBQ Chicken, Singapore Chicken and Kung Pao Chicken.  So we literally just finished one dish and had to take the others home.  Everything was good though and the waitress was really lovely, she even packed everything up for us which was awesome.  Standout dishes were the Mongolian Beef, Salt & Pepper Calamari and Chang’s Chicken noodle soup.  Total was $137.
