Can’t visit New Orleans without checking out French Quarter. So full from lunch still so just needed a hot chocolate and coffee for the others. I saw this place had good reviews so we managed to get a park and walked down. There was a bit of a line, obviously a popular place. We finally got a seat, the waiters are a bit all over the place, I know it’s busy but still. Ordered a hot chocolate, coffees, juice and two Beignets (you get an order of 3). The hot chocolate was really good, loved it. Coffee was decent but just doesn’t cut the coffee you get in Aus/NZ, so I’ve been told – I don’t drink coffee. Anyway, the beignets – they were tasty, but would have been good to have a filling, maybe custard. That would have really made it pop. Still enjoyed it and the atmosphere, although busy, was nice. We ordered two of the souvenir mugs – and once we got back saw that the waitress had given us both the wrong colour. I have to say the only thing annoying was the service, everything else was great.
