Went here in a big group – 13 of us, for dinner. If you’re in a large group you need to book early and they limit it to 2 hours – we made a booking for 6pm on a Friday. This is full on BBQ, there’s not much selection for cooked meals, so if you’re not into cooking for yourself then this isn’t the place to go. We had the chilli marinated pork belly, wagyu marinated beef short rib, wagyu marinated beef steak and spicy seafood tofu. The side dishes here are not that great – in comparison to Madang. When cooking the meat it gets seriously hot. It starts feeling like a hot summer day and start thinking you should have brought your hair straightener or that your face is melting, luckily a friend had some hair ties lol. The chilli pork was by far the best dish – had really good flavour, they obviously marinated it well. The beef short rib close second. Wasn’t that into the steak so much, was a bit chewy. Didn’t try the soup, but it had crab and a lot of seafood in it. Our friend didn’t rate it that great though. One good thing about here, is that they had peach soju. Most places just have the standard one but it was good to try something a bit different. All up it came to $50 pp, that’s including about 12+ sojus.
